TOYOTA

bZ Compact SUV – an electric C-HR

Toyota recently showed off the first images of the bZ Compact SUV concept - now they're revealing more details about the car that's getting ready for production.

The Toyota bZ Compact SUV (bZ3X) gets an aerodynamic shape with what Toyota wants to describe as a "futuristic look". The car is 454 cm long, 156 cm high and 189 cm wide. The concept car has 21-inch rims, but that will not be standard.

The concept car can be described as an electric version of the C-segment SUV C-HR. The Toyota C-HR will live on and will soon come in a new version as a hybrid and plug-in hybrid.

The chairs are made from plant-based and recycled materials. Through sound and light signals in various places in the passenger compartment, the car can communicate with the driver and passengers.

Toyota is not disclosing any details about the powertrain, performance or pricing. More details about the car will come next year.

Over the next three years, Toyota will launch six models in the bZ series, of which the bZ3X is the first.
