Company intends to bring the Motocompo miniature motorcycle to the modern world

Honda first revealed the name Motocompacto in 2020, when the Japanese company filed an application for protection of the name with the US Patent and Trademark Office.

Although the name has more letters than the original Motocompo, it is clearly a reference to the iconic pocket machine.

However, that was the last time the Motocompacto name appeared in the headlines.

That is, so far, as Honda recently filed a new trademark application, this time with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office.

The application contains two different ways of writing the same word: Motocompacto and Moto Compacto.

It is interesting that in the application the names are marked as follows: “Goods: land vehicles, self-balanced electric scooters; electric scooters”.

Also in the app is a logo design for a scooter, which showed a compact, square scooter, similar in appearance to a suitcase.

While all other information about the scooter is currently scarce, we now know that Honda intends to bring the miniature motorcycle back into the modern world.

In addition, the Motocompacto or Moto Compacto is likely to be a small electric scooter intended for city driving that offers a short range with replaceable batteries.
