TRITON
Traveling today has become more accessible than ever if we are talking about traditional travel. In this context, underwater adventures take on a special place, where only the elite can go. Triton is ready to challenge this state of affairs with its new Hercules bathyscaphe.
Dark Ocean Design studio and famous yacht Espen Oein worked on creating a unique device. The base of the bathyscaphe was an acrylic body made in the shape of a flattened bubble, already familiar from other products of the brand.
An interesting detail is that the transparent case protrudes significantly forward. Because of this, two passengers, occupying comfortable folding seats, have the best opportunities to observe the underwater world. The boat is controlled by a pilot, who stands behind the passengers' backs. It is separated by a partition, combined with a mini-bar. The project aims to show the beauty of the sea to a small number of people, providing the most private environment.
The device is capable of diving for up to 10 hours at depths of up to 200 meters. A travel speed of 15 km/h is ensured by a compact electric propulsion system. Attention is drawn to the structural element in front of the bathyscaphe, which strongly resembles a bumper. It has a built-in high resolution camera that allows you to take unique photos. While this is just a concept, whether Hercules is built depends on having customers for it.
