Renault apresentou um carro-conceito em miniatura Mobilize Solo

Mobilize Solo: the concept car created by the Indian studio Renault

Renault has unveiled the latest development under its Mobilize sub-brand, focused on producing electric cars for car-sharing and taxis. The Solo Concept is a miniature single-seater vehicle measuring just 1.37 m long, 0.9 m wide and 1.75 m high. The concept car was created by the Indian studio Renault, has three wheels and can reach speeds of no more than 25 km/h. Keep in mind that the government of the Russian Federation recently allowed this maximum speed for electric scooters, gyroscopes and other similar devices.

According to the creators, Mobilize Solo does not require a driver's license to drive, can be driven without a helmet and is controlled by a joystick. The driver is in an electric car in a relaxed, semi-sitting position, and the body wraps around him, almost like clothes, say the concept car's creators. At the same time, the microcar has an airbag and a foot-operated emergency button that will stop the electric car in case of danger. The Mobilize Solo has only one door - on the left side, the seat tilts forward, freeing access to the storage compartment.

The car's frame is 50% recycled materials, and the electric car itself is 95% recyclable. The shape of the bodywork is constructed so that in the parking lot the cars “invest” in each other: a standard parking spot can accommodate up to six Mobilize Solo in a row. In this case, they can be charged simultaneously from a terminal, thanks to wireless induction charging. In addition, the car battery can be removed and charged at home from the mains. The developers note that the Mobilize Solo is designed to take up minimal space in the city, ensuring driver safety and protection from the weather.
