HAVAL

Começou a vender um grande crossover Niutron NV

Chinese brand has already made available to the market in that country the great crossover Niutron NV

Sales of a large nearly 5-meter Niutron NV crossover started in China. The front of the car is reminiscent of Haval's brutal crossovers, and buyers can choose between two powertrain options: pure electric and hybrid with a 1.5-liter engine used to charge the traction battery.

The dimensions of the Niutron NV are 4915 x 1962 x 1745 mm with a wheelbase of 2910 mm. This is a big, roomy crossover inside. Exterior features include door handles hidden in the bodywork and darkened pillars, which create the effect of a floating roof. The base car has 20-inch wheels.

Niutron NV already has 24 driver assistance systems at the base. Among them are an automatic emergency braking system, adaptive cruise control, lane control, blind spot monitoring and an automatic parking assistant.

Inside, there's a large 15.6-inch screen with vertical orientation, two-spoke steering wheel with truncated bezel, digital instrument cluster, 15-watt wireless phone charger, double-layer windows for better noise isolation, and a panoramic roof.

All versions of the Niutron NV have all-wheel drive by default. The hybrid version is equipped with 177 hp electric motors. (front) and 190 hp (back). In one tank it can travel up to 1257 km (based on measurements using the CLTC method).

The power plant of the electric version is 380 hp, the range with a standard traction battery is 440 km, with a high-capacity traction battery - 560 km (CLTC). Interestingly, regardless of the version – hybrid or electric – the car accelerates to 100 km/h in the same 5.9 s. The company promises to start delivering the cars purchased in December. Prices range from $39,100 to $44,800.

Niutron is a new premium brand in the Chinese automotive market. Its founder and one of the main investors is Chinese billionaire and former CTO of Baidu, Yan Li. Niutron owns a 770,000 square meter complex in Changzhou (Jiangsu Province, about 200 km from Shanghai), which includes a research and development department and a factory that can produce 180,000 vehicles a year.
