Transit Trail Van: the adventurous new version of the line

This statement from the automaker suggests that this van will not come fully equipped as a factory motorhome, but will serve as a good base for those looking to get involved in outfitting it.

The Transit Trail will have a unique grille with three distinct amber lights. The van will come standard with distinctive off-road oriented wheels and tires.

Ford will also install a more prominent wheel arch lining and increase the van's ground clearance. The chassis can also be reinforced, making it more suitable for off-road adventures.

No powertrain details for the US Transit Trail have yet been announced, but buyers may have the option to choose between a 3.5-liter, 275-hp V6. and a turbocharged 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, as is the case with the standard Transit models. All variants are expected to have all-wheel drive as standard.

It is known that the car will be presented in November. But a specific date has not yet been announced.
