Brand announces pre-sales for three all-electric models

BYD has announced pre-order pricing for three all-electric models, Han, Tang and Atto 3, which will soon be available in select European markets.

The Chinese company intends to offer the Atto 3 model from 38,000 euros, while Than Han and Tang will be available from 72,000 euros.

According to the press release, prices are indicative for the German market only and may differ in other European markets. In addition, prices may be subject to minor adjustments in the near future as final market prices and vehicle specifications will be announced at the Paris Motor Show in October 2022.

To encourage customers to buy BYD, the company will offer an eight-year battery warranty.

BYD says its electric vehicles will initially be available in seven countries: Norway, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany.

By the end of this year, two more countries will join the list: France and the United Kingdom, making a total of nine countries.

BYD has already announced that more dealers will be appointed at a later date to support the plant's expansion to cover all major European markets.

With really interesting models and big ambitions to expand outside of China, BYD has a chance to become a significant player in Europe.

It will be very interesting to see if consumers find BYD an attractive enough model to place an order. Long lines for many other electric vehicles can help you make a decision.
