Manta5: the pedal bike for traveling on water

As the name suggests, the SL3 hydrofoil catamaran is classified as a pedal bike, except that it travels on water rather than land. The Manta5 confirms that it's incredibly easy to ride thanks to its comfortable build and affordable design. In addition, it is easy to assemble and disassemble, allowing you to take it in the car on the way to the beach or the water park.

Manta5 claims that learning to ride SL3 is as easy as riding a bike, and that beginners can try and learn to ride SL3 in just 40 minutes. This is largely due to the company's patented "Easy Start Technology".

Its frame consists of a unibody chassis with a fixed rope skin that keeps the bike upright and floating even when stopped. It has an acceleration trigger that you use to accelerate and 10 levels of assistance depending on your skill level.

This electric ocean bike is equipped with a 2500W electric motor that allows the machine to reach a maximum speed of 20km/h.

Keeping you informed is a large digital display that shows gas level readings, battery status and range.

In terms of pricing and availability, Manta5 has yet to reveal the price of the SL3 hydrofoil, but it is expected to sell between $7,000 and $9,000. Expect the bike to go on sale in early 2023.
