TUNNING

Hamann BMW X5 M

BMW X5 M fine-tuned by Hamann GmbH

The BMW X5 M will soon receive an updated version, but those interested in embellishing the current model can turn to the German tuner Hamann GmbH.

Hamann prepared a series of visual modifications to make the performance-focused SUV stand out from the crowd.

The interior features a red crest on the carbon center console, while the steering wheel features a black logo. The SUV received sports pedals and Hamann markings on the footrests, floor mats, in the trunk, in addition to LED projectors.

At the rear, the new diffuser with red accents, as well as the larger 115 mm exhausts each with a carbon finish, attract more attention. Hamann also didn't neglect the upper body and added a rear spoiler.

Among them is the prominent front splitter with integrated “false” inlets, which additionally brought the SUV closer to the ground. The same theme is followed by the profile with extended sills, as well as the rear with additions to the bumper.

Incidentally, the body is painted in metallic red M Toronto, and the SUV also received new 23-inch Anniversary Evo wheels in gloss black, while the contrast is made by a red ring. The rims are available in black, gray and silver. They are equipped with a set of 315/25R23 Continental Sport Contact 7 tires. Hamann lowered the SUV by 40mm at the front and 35mm at the rear using new springs.

Unlike Manhart and G-Power, Hamann did not “choose” the 4.4-liter V8 biturbo engine, which, thanks to the M Competition designation, develops 617 hp and 750 Nm of torque from the factory. That's enough for the 2.4-ton SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds.
