All-electric versions of the Peugeot 308 hatchback and Peugeot 308 SW wagon have been revealed and will be available in mid-2023.
Both models are built on a 400 volt system with a new generation 54 kWh battery that is 80% nickel, 10% manganese and 10% cobalt. The power reserve will be over 400 km. The electric Peugeot 308 and 308 SW are powered by a 156 hp electric motor. with 260 Nm of torque.
Work on the engine, the battery, the optimization of the front end, the weight of the platform and the friction of the tires made it possible to achieve low energy consumption - an average of 12.7 kWh per 100 km driven. It sets the benchmark for electric vehicles in the C-segment. New 18-inch aluminum wheels have been developed especially for the Peugeot 308 and 308 SW.
The basic versions are equipped with a three-phase charger with a nominal power of 11 kW, but charging of 100 kW is also supported, allowing you to recharge the battery from 20 to 80% in less than 25 minutes.
The electric Peugeot 308 and 308 SW look exactly like the ICE models. They get a Peugeot i-Cockpit interior with a distinctive small heated steering wheel, a 3D digital projection screen and a 10-inch touchscreen in the center console.
Prices will be announced closer to the start of sales.
