LINCOLN CORSAIR 2023: MAIS TECNOLOGIA E ESTÉTICA RENOVADA

Lincoln Corsair updates itself in the USA to maintain the brand's prestige

It may be that in Brazil Lincoln is a great unknown, but the truth is that in the United States this brand, belonging to the Ford Motor Company, has a certain prestige, thanks to premium style models that are positioned above the current Fords.

The house's best-selling product is called Lincoln Corsair, and as it could not be otherwise, it is an SUV. To keep it up to date, the manufacturer has just presented a restyling that will be on sale at the brand's dealerships in the United States in early 2023.

The main improvements of this Corsair 2023 are in the interior, as it now has greater technological equipment. The small 8.0-inch multimedia screen, for example, gives way to a much larger 13.2-inch one. The digital instrumentation, for its part, maintains its 12.3 inches.

There are also some design changes to the center console, with a simpler setup and a new backlit bezel as an option. Also new is the optional Auto Air Refresh function for the climate control, which mixes outside and inside air.

The cabin is now available in two new colors: a beige called Smoked Truffle and a red called Eternal Red. In addition, the brand adds two other shades to the bodywork, called Crystal Red and Whisper Blue.

And speaking of the exterior, there is also a new front grille, with a renewed design, which, depending on the finish chosen by the customer, has details in different shades (glossy black or ‘Sundown Satin Metallic’).

One of the new features of the 2023 Corsair is the new ActiveGlide 1.2 system, a 'hands-free' driving assistant that allows the vehicle to maintain speed in its lane up to 130 km/h, and to change lanes automatically when activating the blinker.

Lastly, the revamped American SUV will be available with a 254hp, 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine, and with a 270hp 2.5-liter plug-in hybrid block, although the previous 2.3-liter turbocharged block is no longer offered. Depending on the engine and finish, you can opt for all-wheel drive, although we don't know the prices for now.
