JEEP
Brand has revealed three new all-electric SUVs that will enter production in the next two years
It is part of a major push towards electrification as it plans to introduce four new electric models to North America and Europe by 2025. By 2030, Jeep will be all-electric in Europe and 50% electric in the United States.
The introduction started with the Jeep Recon and Jeep Wagoneer S models for global markets, and the Jeep Avenger(image above) is intended for Europe only.
It's worth noting that while these three SUVs have indeed been officially revealed, Jeep only offers a few details about each of them. With that said, consider this just an introduction to what Jeep has in store for the future.
The Recon model(image below) probably attracts the most attention. Jeep isn't shy about pairing it with the Wrangler, both in terms of design inspiration and off-road performance.
Jeep says it has off-road capability with Jeep Selec-Terrain mode, e-locker axle technology, and beefy off-road tires.
Other details about batteries, engine layout or performance are not mentioned, but we do know that it is built on the great Stellantis STLA platform.
It has removable doors and the cabin opens further with a one-touch lid(image above).
Speaking to reporters during the presentation, Jeep brand CEO Christian Meunier promised that the Recon is definitely not a replacement for the Wrangler, despite the clear similarities.
It will be built in the United States and expected to enter production in 2024, and will still be offered with a range of off-road upgrade options at launch. Reservations for Recon will open in early 2023. While the Recon aims to win the hearts of off-roaders, the sleek Wagoneer S looks more like a Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk.
The Wagoneer S(image below) also uses the STLA Large platform. Its dimensions are somewhere on par with the Grand Cherokee.
Technical details are also unknown here, but Jeep promises to accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in 3.5 seconds, with an estimated range of around 600 km per charge.

At the end of the day, the car that most interests Europeans is definitely the Jeep Avenger(in the images below). Designed for the European market, it will also be sold in Japan and South Korea and will be positioned below the Renegade. There are no technical details here either.
The full official debut is scheduled for October 17 at the Paris Motor Show and will hit showrooms in early 2023.
