CFMOTO
Brand has unveiled its NK-C22 concept, which brings a glimpse of the next replacement for the roadster model in the NK lineup
The company introduced its first concept, called the SR-C21, a year ago, and it has since become the 450SR sports motorcycle. The NK-C22 has now been unveiled for two reasons: as a glimpse into the next generation of the NK lineup and to debut the C-LINK platform.
Along with the NK-C22, CFMOTO has announced that it will launch up to 10 new models next year. Of this total, 4 will be powered by electricity. The basis of the future electrical offer will be the C-LINK platform, which will allow communication between the models, both in hardware and software.
However, the NK-C22 concept has attracted more attention, with its aggressive appearance showing that the company's style will be developed around the well-known KTM platform.
There is a slender “nose”, which is dominated by the set of headlights placed in the shape of the letter “Y”. The profile carries oversized armor and a clearly designed “hunchback”.
Let's also mention the Project SC exhaust, which probably won't be used in the production version. Basically, the appearance is partially similar to that of the MV Agusta Brutale motorcycle.
It's still unclear what she's wearing underneath. The current NK range is available in 300 and 650 cubic meter variants, and we can safely say that the new generation will also have a 450 cubic meter unit, as found in the 450SR. There could be room for a 700 cubic meter unit with the CL-X.
While the design of the NK-C22 is quite impressive, it remains to be seen how many elements will be found in the production variant.
So the SR-C21 was praised, but the concept ended up being watered down in the 450SR we have now.
