XTURISM: the flying motorcycle that was presented at the Detroit show

One of the central events at the Detroit auto show that opened last week was the presentation of the XTURISMO flying motorcycle. Visitors witnessed a spectacle that looks more like a fragment of a movie, with a futuristic hybrid of a motorcycle and a drone hovering above the ground.

XTURISMO is equipped with a Kawasaki hybrid engine, capable of providing a flight life of 40 minutes and a maximum speed of up to 100 km/h. However, it is possible that by moving at this speed for a long time, the duration of the flight could be significantly reduced.

The hoverbike is reported to be already available in Japan, and its smaller American version will be available next year. While the price is prohibitive - almost 780 thousand dollars, however, in the next three years, the developer of XTURISMO, the Japanese startup AERWINS Technologies, promised to reduce this amount by more than 15 times to a very acceptable 50 thousand dollars.
