Skoda has unveiled its new Vision 7S electric crossover concept. The model incorporates the new corporate identity of the Czech brand and should eventually go serial.
The big Skoda Vision 7S is the big brother of the Enyaq, which could hit the market in 2026. It will be one of three Skoda electric vehicles the company will launch in the coming years. The other two are a small hatchback and a compact crossover.
The serial Skoda Vision 7S will be Skoda's flagship and will be built on the same MEB electric platform as other German Volkswagen electric vehicles, including the Volkswagen ID.4 and Audi Q4 e-tron. The concept car is equipped with an 89 kWh battery that offers a range of over 600 km, and the charging power reaches a record 200 kW.
The car received ultra-thin T-shaped headlights, both front and rear, a small insert that mimics the radiator grille, like a classic internal combustion engine car, angled wheel arches. Dimensions are 5016 x 1940 x 1888 mm with a wheelbase of 3075 mm. The crossover received 22-inch wheels and has a ground clearance of 242 mm.
Six seats are arranged in three rows - two for each row, and the seventh seat is for the child and is installed in the opposite direction to the rear of the front seats. This, according to Skoda, is the safest place in the cabin. The front panel features an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch swiveling multimedia system display. In addition, the car received an unusual steering wheel with vertical spokes.
