Company of Christopher Reitz, grandson of Ferdinand Porsche, releases the first images of his Feuerbach Porsche GTL Coupe
Feuerbach Designworks has released the first images of its Feuerbach Porsche GTL Coupe. The company was founded in 2019 by Christopher Reitz, grandson of Ferdinand Porsche. He had previously been head of design at Nissan Europe and Fiat. He also worked for Alfa Romeo and Maserati.
Its first model is a derivative of the Porsche 911 GT3 (997). At first glance, the Feuerbach Porsche GTL Coupe has wider rear fenders to give it a more aggressive look. The engine cover has a different design, as well as the taillights, which have been slightly improved.
It appears the company used exposed carbon fiber, which is used to cover the air extractor and engine hood screens. The front has yet to be revealed in images, so it remains a secret.
However, Feuerbach Designworks has released an image of the interior. In it, we can appreciate the presence of carbon fiber, leather and Alcantara fabric. This creation has no touchscreen, analog instrumentation remains in place, and in the center is a gearshift that smells like a vintage car.
The young brand claims that customers will be able to customize the car to their liking. If they want, they can even add a safety bar and better brakes for circuit use.
The Feuerbach Porsche GTL Coupe has a carbon fiber body made by the Reitz company. It has a 6-cylinder, 4.3-liter, naturally aspirated (handmade) boxer engine.
It develops a minimum of 540 hp, but more can be achieved by installing turbochargers. Additionally, Feuerbach Designworks claims there will be a PDK automatic transmission version with steering wheel fins.
To add this model to your car collection, you will have to spend at least $550,000 pre-tax. This doesn't include any options, of course. Therefore, the Feuerbach Porsche GTL is a highly exclusive car, especially since only 25 examples will be built.
