Scorpio-N: the Indian suv with robust engine, arrives renewed for the Asian market
Mahindra Scorpio debuts a new generation and does so by vastly improving over its predecessor throughout. Under the name Scorpio-N, a product with a capacity for seven passengers is offered, very well equipped and with a correct finish.
For now, the new Mahindra Scorpio-N will only be marketed in India (for around 77,500 reais-Brazilian currency) and Pakistan, but shortly afterwards it will also be offered in Sri Lanka and other markets in the region. Both the design and many other elements of the vehicle were developed to be internationally attractive.
Inside, the evolution of the brand can be clearly seen in the materials used and in the distribution of controls, including an 8.0-inch screen with the latest in connectivity, and a configurable digital instrumentation that stands out for the clarity of its graphics.
Among the equipment elements announced for the new model are keyless entry and start, sliding sunroof, leather upholstery, tinted windows, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rear camera, Sony sound system, LED headlights and cruise control.
The mechanical offer announced for India includes the 2.0 TGDI Stallion gasoline engine with 200 hp, while the diesel is the 2.2 mHawk block with 175 hp. As standard, they are mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive, but as an option, it is possible to choose the automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive.
