Z900 Anniversary Edition: represents 50 years of the Z Line's worldwide launch

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the worldwide launch of the 'Z Line', Kawasaki has just presented the brand new 'Z900 Anniversary Edition' in the country. Bringing the already established Sugomi style, the 948 cm3 four-cylinder supernaked received important improvements such as an all-LED lighting system, state-of-the-art digital control panel and, above all, a design that pays homage to the old ‘Z’ of the eighties. This can be quickly identified by its coloring. With wheels, tank and fairings in red, the model pays homage to the legendary Z1100GP, which at the time had this color as Kawasaki's signature.

In addition to the predominant paintwork, available only in 'firecracker red', the new look of the 'Z900 Anniversary Edition' features several graphics in dark blue and silver, which accentuate the bright red, as well as the 'Z' emblem and the Kawasaki logo. stamped in gold. By the way, the color that refers to gold is also present in the outer tubes of the front suspension, a detail that adds another touch of class to the launch.

Scheduled to arrive this month at authorized Kawasaki dealerships, the edition is limited to just 200 units - the model has a suggested retail price of 61,640 reais. The 200 units come with a commemorative box containing a book with the history of 'Linha Z' and a beautiful keyring.

With an elegant look and full of well-crafted details, which promise to delight lovers of the Japanese brand, the 'Z900 Anniversary Edition' arrives on the market bringing the most modern technologies, starting with its new TFT instrument panel 4.3 inches. Fully digital, it has numerous functions, including a bluetooth connection that allows riders to connect their smartphones and use the 'RIDEOLOGY THE APP' app. With it, the driver can access a portion of precise data about the riding - which refers to the telemetry used in competition bikes - such as, for example, speed, inclination, 'g force' performance, lap time, among many others.

The 'Z900 Anniversary Edition' is also equipped with the 'Integrated Riding Modes' function. With simple and quick access, through the dashboard, the driver can choose the ideal setting according to the type and riding condition. Using the bike's traction control and power modes, the tool provides three factory preset settings (sport, road and rain) and also the option for the rider to manually adjust and perform a fully customized setup.

Returning to the two technologies mentioned above, the 'Z900 Anniversary Edition' comes equipped with the advanced KTRC (Kawasaki Traction Control) system, which offers high performance for sporty driving and safety in riding situations on low traction surfaces. The 'Power Modes' function allows riders to adjust the level of power delivered by the powerful inline four-cylinder engine according to their preferences and riding conditions. Among the other novelties, the launch also received new Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 tires, which provide more grip, and a fully LED lighting system.

The list of technologies developed by Kawasaki that are included in the 'Z900 Anniversary Edition' is quite extensive. The launch uses an 'Assisted and Sliding' clutch system, which allows for a lighter drive and prevents the rear wheel from locking in cases of sudden downshifts. In addition, it is equipped with dual valve throttle, Kawasaki Intelligent ABS system, economy driving mode indicator and Back-link rear suspension, which offers more efficient absorption of horizontal impacts.
