CHRYSLER

CHRYSLER 300 SE TRANSFORMARÁ EM UM CARRO 100% ELÉTRICO

Chrysler 300 will follow the fate of the inevitable age of electrification

Chrysler has set in motion an ambitious transformation process. The established roadmap has a target of 2028, the year in which its entire lineup will be made up of electric vehicles and, therefore, the emblematic American company will become a 100% electric brand. This product offensive would not have been possible without the enormous support of Stellantis.

The plan established by Chrysler generated many doubts and unknowns. More specifically about the more immediate future of the few models that make up the brand's lineup. The Chrysler 300 is one of the models that are in the crosshairs. The current generation has been on the market for over a decade, being one of the most veteran vehicles we can find in its competitive segment. The 300 is on a tightrope, however, Chrysler will continue to bet on this formula from the recent electric car era.

In distant Australia, an important report emerged revealing that there will be a new generation of the Chrysler 300. Now, this model as we know it today will change forever. It's just that to stay alive, Chrysler will make the 300 a 100% electric vehicle. The next generation will bet everything on electrification at its maximum level.

The report, which points to internal sources within the company, ensures that the new generation of the 300 is one of three electric cars that Chrysler will launch on the market by 2028. These are models that will be supported by Stellantis's new STLA Large platform. So on the agenda is the development of a full-size sedan that will replace the aging 300.

It's too early to speculate with concrete details about the propulsion system. However, the latest information allows us to imagine an 800-volt system and a maximum power of 330 kW (449 hp). In addition, the aforementioned platform can house batteries of up to 108 kWh, promising a maximum range of 800 kilometers.

As for its arrival on the market, the information indicates that the next generation of the 300 will be ready to land on the market sometime in 2026. The Dodge brand will benefit from this development and will incorporate a four-door sedan derived from the new model of Chrysler. A possible synergy, since both brands belong to the same group.
