Alfa Tonale will make its debut at Le Mans Classic 2022

The Tonale, Alfa Romeo's first electrified C-SUV, is a symbol of the brand's metamorphosis, transporting it into a new era. The 48V hybrid engine and its brand new Variable Geometry Turbo (VGT) system allow power to the wheels even when the internal combustion engine is turned off. However, its electrification system was created to highlight the brand's sporting DNA.

The Tonale is the most technologically advanced Alfa Romeo ever. It is the first vehicle equipped with an NFT digital certificate. In addition, it offers state-of-the-art connectivity and an innovative infotainment system, with over-the-air upgrades and Amazon Alexa system integration.

The compact dimensions of the new Tonale - 4.53 m long, 1.84 m wide and 1.60 m high - are exemplary of Italian Alfa Romeo brand design, providing the perfect synthesis of its prestigious heritage and future innovations.

The Alfa Romeo styling features that made motorsport history globally were, in fact, used in the Tonale. For example, the 'GT Line', which extends from the rear to the headlights, recalls the shapes of the 1960s Giulia GT, alternating full and elegant volumes, reminiscent of iconic models such as the 8C Competizione.

As part of this 10th Le Mans Classic, fans will have the opportunity to test both the new Tonale and the entire range of Alfa Romeo models. Some lucky ones will also be able to drive on the legendary circuit where the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans takes place. In addition, all participants will be able to consult information on some of the models that have written memorable chapters in the history of Alfa Romeo and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
