FIAT
Doblò renews itself, gains electrification and becomes more technological
The Fiat Doblo debut generation. Far from investing large volumes of money in a segment that is complicated to amortize, the giant Stellantis has simply chosen to maximize the development of the Peugeot Partner and Citroën Berlingo, adding a new member to the family. The new Fiat Doblò differs from the Citroën Berlingo, Peugeot Partner, Toyota ProAce City and Opel Combo only by the grille and other small details. The images show the commercial version without glazing that can be ordered with combustion engines and also with electric propulsion.
It seems that for the passenger versions there will be no conventional mechanics, betting everything on the 'electric', as is already the case with the Citroën Berlingo, Opel Combo Life and Peugeot Rifter, and this will greatly limit their license plates.
As it is a product already known with the Fiat emblem, it is clear that all the advantages and defects are repeated. The offer includes two lengths, Crew Cab, Van and Combi versions, and different cargo solutions to facilitate the transport of bulky objects.
The announced offer includes the 1.2 Turbo 110 hp petrol engine, the 1.5 100 hp diesel with manual transmission and an interesting 1.5 liter diesel with 130 hp in combination with the 8-speed automatic gearbox. The electric option relies on the well-known 136 hp block with 50 kWh battery power and 280 km of autonomy.
Depending on the versions, the new Fiat Doblò may have automatic climate control, rear view camera, alloy wheels, navigator with 8.0-inch screen, signal reader, lane alert, blind spot object detector, parking sensors, etc. Pricing and other details will be known a little later.
