ALFA ROMEO

ALFA ROMEO GIULIA SPECIALE: UMA EDIÇÃO LIMITADA DE 15 EXEMPLARES PARA O CANADÁ

Giulia Speciale 2022: exclusively for Canada

Until its lineup is expanded, Alfa Romeo continues to create special editions of its two most veteran models, the Giulia and the Stelvio, to refresh its appeal. In this case, the novelty is in the Giulia Speciale 2022, limited to just 15 units.

These copies are intended exclusively for the Canadian market. All feature the Montreal Green color, until now exclusive to the high-performance Quadrifoglio version. The price is 71,995 Canadian dollars, around 290,000 reais (local currency).

Based on the Veloce finish with Q4 traction, self-locking rear differential and adaptive suspension, the Speciale mounts the well-known 280 hp and 415 Nm 2.0 Turbo gasoline engine, coupled to an automatic transmission with torque converter, originally ZF and with 8 speeds.

The Italian sedan, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds, incorporates carbon fiber details, such as the frame that surrounds the grille emblem, the side moldings and the mirror housings. Also noteworthy are the 19-inch alloy wheels and yellow-toned brake calipers.

Inside, carbon inserts reappear, in this case on the dashboard, center console and doors. The seats are upholstered in black leather and the red stitching creates an eye-catching contrast.

For sure, the 15 copies of the Speciale will disappear from dealerships quickly. After all, it is one of the small sedans with one of the most sporty driving sensations on the market, surpassing even the BMW 3 Series.

As we know, the Giulia will soon receive (next year, we assume) a slight facelift that will only modify the front. With this update, the current generation will follow a few more years on sale, until the next delivery is already 100% electric.

For now, the Tonale is the first Alfa Romeo with a plug-in hybrid powertrain. Little by little, the Italian brand will take steps in this direction until it becomes a brand with all its battery-operated models in 2027.
