Crossover atualizado Toyota Highlander muda para motores turbo

Highlander 2023: the Japanese SUV arrives with some changes, the most significant being the new turbocharged 2.4L engine

The biggest change for the 2023 Toyota Highlander is under the hood, as the 3.5-liter V6 engine has been replaced with a new 2.4-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder. Produces 265 hp. and 418 Nm, which represents a loss of 30 hp, but an increase of 62 Nm.

Toyota stated that the 4-cylinder engine is more environmentally friendly as it offers "a 50% reduction in NOx and NMOG emissions, as well as an improvement in CO2 emissions over the previous V6 engine".

In terms of the interior, the Limited and Platinum trims now feature a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster that replaces the previous analog gauges and the 7-inch display. Toyota hasn't said much about it, but the digital instrument cluster offers some degree of personalization as there will be four different display modes known as Casual, Smart, Tough and Sporty.

Higher trim levels also benefit from the new 12.3-inch infotainment system. It will also be available as an option on the mid-range XLE and XSE, which come standard with an 8-inch screen. Speaking of screens, the entry-level Highlander L and LE swap their tiny 4.2-inch multi-information display for a larger 7-inch.

All 2023 Highlanders feature the Toyota Audio multimedia system that debuted on the 2022 Tundra. The system features cloud-based navigation, over-the-air updates, and an intelligent assistant that responds to the phrase "Hey, Toyota." The infotainment system also features wireless compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus built-in streaming of Apple Music and Amazon Music with an available Wi-Fi Connect subscription.
