NOVO SUBARU LEGACY 2023 CHEGA MAIS POTENTE E COM O VISUAL RENOVADO

Legacy 2023 has been updated with aesthetic improvements, new 11.6-inch touchscreen and new 2.5L naturally aspirated engine

The new 2023 Subaru Legacy has been updated with a new grille, as well as revamped headlights and front bumper. The Sport finish should be even sportier, with a standard 2.4-liter turbocharged engine, developing a power of 260 hp, in place of the naturally aspirated block of 182 hp.

After three years on sale, the Subaru Legacy is getting an update for the 2023 year/model. The update brings revised styling, adds the latest driver assistance technology, and the Sport trim gets the more powerful 2.4-liter turbo engine as a standard.

The most noticeable changes are at the front, where a new grille trim element spans almost the width of the car and turns on the LED headlights. The grille has also increased in size, while the front bumper has redesigned fog light housings. The back of the Legacy remains unchanged.

The Sport trim now comes standard with the 260hp flat-four 2.4-liter turbocharged engine, replacing the base engine, a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter 182hp block.

This is expected to add more sportiness to the model. The Sport version is distinguished by a red detail on the grille, gray side mirrors and a trunk spoiler, as well as 18-inch gray wheels and a two-tone black and gray fabric interior with red stitching. The Sport also includes what Subaru describes as a "tuned sport" suspension.

As before, the Legacy comes standard with Subaru's EyeSight package of driver assistance technology such as automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning and lane keeping assist.

Some models will also feature automatic emergency steering, designed to help avoid collisions with objects at speeds below 80 km/h. The Touring XT model also gains a wide-angle camera that expands the field of view for the EyeSight system, working in conjunction with the pre-existing dual camera setup.

Inside, the Sport and Touring XT trims now feature a heated steering wheel as standard, and the Touring XT now features Black Nappa leather with silver stitching, in addition to other trim improvements.

The models are equipped with the 11.6-inch touchscreen and now also come with Apple Carplay and Android Auto features as standard. Subaru reports that the media center display has revised controls for audio, climate control and other settings.

The new 2023 Subaru Legacy will arrive in the last quarter of this year, and remaining details and pricing will be revealed closer to landing at dealerships.
