Verrtappen rides in Miami

Max Verstappen's victory at the Miami GP this Sunday (8) confirmed that, yes, Red Bull is in the running, and now it shows a slight advantage over rival Ferrari. With the reliability problems apparently resolved, the Dutchman asserted the strength of the Taurus on the long straights of the American circuit and took the lead right at the beginning, giving Charles Leclerc no chance.

The reigning Formula 1 champion got out of the car quite breathless, looking exhausted, and spoke about the challenge that was driving in the intense heat in Miami. "It was an incredible GP! Very difficult physically, but we kept the excitement until the end", he said.

The Dutchman was still "incredibly happy" to be the first winner of the American race. "It was an amazing Sunday for us," he concluded in a nutshell. Next, Verstappen looked for a corner to sit in before heading to the podium ceremony.
