French automotive conglomerate ends activity in Russia

As announced by the group's press office, the Renault Group's Board of Directors approved the following decisions on 23 March:

Group Renault's activities at its factory in Moscow are suspended from today.

Regarding its stake in Avtovaz, Groupe Renault is evaluating available options, taking into account the current environment, while acting responsibly towards its 45,000 employees in Russia.

“Grupo Renault recalls that it has already implemented the necessary measures to comply with international sanctions,” he said in the press release.
