Brand renews Frontier for the South American market, but the pickup-up platform is still from the defunct Mercedes X-Class
Nissan today introduced the New Frontier, which offers unprecedented attributes in terms of strength, technology and design. This combination allows for a higher level of safety, comfort and driving pleasure, while providing durability, reliability and versatility.
“The launch of the New Nissan Frontier is yet another demonstration of the brand's commitment to customers in our region. We present a vehicle that, without a doubt, will be a success, and that will allow us to continue establishing ourselves as one of the best options on the market”, said Airton Cousseau, president of Nissan Mercosul and general director of Nissan do Brasil.
Produced at Fábrica Santa Isabel, in the province of Córdoba, Argentina, and based on more than 80 years of heritage and experience in manufacturing Japanese brand pick-ups, the New Nissan Frontier is getting ready to reach the markets of Argentina and Brazil.
A new design, based on the Nissan Emotional Geometry Design concept, and the incorporation of the latest technologies from the Nissan Intelligent Mobility brand vision make this new pickup the most advanced Frontier in history.
“Each of our customers is unique, therefore, the evolution of our Customer Journey allows, among other things, that today they can access a personalized brand experience on demand through the channel or point of sale they want, be it physical, through our dealerships, or digitally, through our Shop@Home channel. The same premise of access to the benefits of technology that we transferred to the New Nissan Frontier”, says Ricardo Flammini, Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Nissan South America.
Within the range offered, the big news is the incorporation of the PRO-4X version, designed for lovers of adventure and more radical challenges. In addition to its exclusive design, the PRO-4X incorporates, among others, the rear differential lock, the exclusive Intelligent 360º Vision system with 'off road' mode and the best angles of attack and departure, positioning it as differentiated in the segment. 'off road'.
The launch of the New Nissan Frontier marks another milestone in the Nissan NEXT transformation plan and the company's growth objectives in the region.
