Mansory: Ferrari Roma GT gets a very welcome update
The Ferrari Roma is the front-engined access GT from the house of Maranello. Along with a careful interior, a curious confort key and a powerful engine, the Italian sports car boasts a retro-inspired exterior that the German specialist has subtly tempered. In addition, the Ferrari Roma by Mansory has interesting mechanical improvements. The Ferrari Roma pays homage to the vibrant city life that gives it its name in the 50s and 60s of the last century. Furthermore, if we pay attention to its lines, we will quickly discover that the model also follows the design pattern of Ferrari models of that time, such as the F250 GT Berlinetta Lusso and the F250 GT 2 2.
Under the hood, the Ferrari Roma gets an updated version of Ferrari's well-known 3.9-liter V8 biturbo engine, which generates 620 horsepower and 760 Nm of torque between 3,000 and 5,750 rpm. Maximum power is reached at 7,500 rpm, being sent to the wheels via an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.
But Mansory, which is an expert in getting an extra of the sportiest models on the market, presents a new integral package that seeks to fulfill the dreams of the most demanding of mortals, adding to the sport both aerodynamic and interior parts, as well as an additional power kit. under the hood.
In the front and side views, the forged carbon fiber takes a strong role. The lightweight material is present in the divider, the hood air intakes, the trim over the front air intakes, the side skirts, the rear-view mirrors, the side air intakes, the door handles and even the engine cover.
In the rear the Ferrari Roma could not be less. Following the layout of the rest of the vehicle, it includes forged carbon fiber in the taillight caps, trunk lid lip spoiler and prominent diffuser. Finishing off the set is a reduction in the height of Roma, of which Mansory did not give details.
Inside, the changes focus on upholstery. The main protagonist is the red leather with black stitching that adorns the seats, the door panels and the instrument panel. The sports steering wheel displays the coach's logo, while the door sills are now carbon fiber with red Mansory lettering.
The main course of preparation is hidden in the car's thruster. Now comes a total power of 710 hp and a maximum torque of 865 Nm. Thanks to the improvements, the Ferrari Roma by Mansory accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds and reaches a top speed of 332 km/h.
And why so much power if it can't be shown? Mansory experts also thought of a solution to this, and along with the ECU tuning, they also installed a new high-performance stainless steel exhaust system with butterfly valve.
