German designer reinterprets iconic cars
For those who like two cars with a predilection for classic models such as the adorable Citroën 2CV, or the legendary Citroën DS or the impressive Mercedes W114 known as “Strich Acht”, the project by German industrial designer Larson Säeltzer is quite a discovery.
This industrial designer is a self-confessed passionate about cars and technology and, for more than two decades, he has combined his work with his two great hobbies and likes to imagine futuristic versions of emblematic vehicles that he later shares on his networks.
Larson Säeltzer already started designing cars and even designing his own models as a child. This passion led him to study industrial and transportation design at the University of Design in Pforzheim (Germany) and to work as an illustrator for major automotive magazines even before graduating.
Larson was also part of the Mazda Europe development center team and came to design trucks for “Fulda-Showtrucke”, but after graduating he decided to start working as a freelance car designer and gradually specialized in “Fulda-Showtrucke” illustration. future".

He has been in this field for over twenty years, and one of his latest series of illustrations attempts to answer the question of what the next generation of buses will look like.
Amid the rise of avant-garde creations with retro, such as the AIR4 Concept (prelude to the R4 electric production) or the purest Art Deco style, the BMW scooter signed by Zillers Garage Säeltzer was inspired by its designs in iconic cars that already make part of the memory of all lovers.

Säeltzer achieves this impressive and realistic effect thanks to cutting-edge technology in its field, such as the 3D software with which it reinvents cult models such as the 1974 Volkswagen Scirocco and the 1956 Opel Kapitän or the 1972 Citroën DS 20 with a modern design. and futuristic.
