In Portuguese Joaquim Rodrigues(image above) has his first victory in Dakar 2022, which also supposes both his first victory in the prueba and Hero's first victory. In a special cut by the storm and overcome without setbacks by the favourites, the Portuguese covers 255 timed kilometers in 2 hours, 34 minutes and 41 seconds, with the Spanish Joan Barreda minimizing the losses arising from opening the track and the British Sam Sunderland defending the lead for four seconds against the Frenchman Adrien Van Beveren.

The victory achieved ayer by Joan Barreda was a caramel poisoned by having to open the track today, if the path of the route had to help him to minimize losses. The Honda's salió firm y, if iba spending time with the pilots who salíé much more behind -especially with the Australian Daniel Sanders, who salíó untied- continued traveling solo and keeping at a distance for those who sailed after it.

So, in WP4 (first of the day to start the special from the theoretical WP3) Barreda gave every four minutes with Sanders, a rent that he kept stable until WP7. From then on, he got some complications: he got lost slightly and was caught by the British Sam Sunderland first and by the Argentine Kevin Benavides and the American Skyler Howes afterward.

They ran together in the final stretch and then reached the finish line, with Barreda delivering three minutes to Sunderland, six to Benavides and new to Howes. Shortly after that, the Australian Toby Price was brought in to put himself first, but it didn't last much longer: the next one to get was the Portuguese Joaquim Rodrigues, who surpassed it in 1:03.

Also, we had to wait for Daniel Sanders, who had been first in every step. Without embargo, the Australian ceded several minutes in the final stretch and fell at 2:55, behind Skyler Howes. The American seemed to complete the top 3 of the stage until his compatriot Mason Klein, who with 20 years achieved his best result even if he was 1:14 behind Rodrigues, winner of the stage.

Adrien Van Beveren se ha puesto a solo cuatro segundos del liderato del Dakar 2022

After Sanders fell to other Americans, Andrew Short and Ricky Brabec, with Argentine Kevin Benavides octavo, followed by Frenchman Adrien Van Beveren(image above) and Austrian Matthias Walkner, of the pilots who do not have much noise on many slopes.

It also follows up on Lorenzo Santolino, whose cheetah calling has become the best Spanish at something more than half a minute from Rodrigues, with Joan Barreda finally relinquishing ten minutes and half, and Joan Pedrero 13 and half.
