Corvette celebrates 70 years in the market, with a special edition full of equipment
The year 2023 marks the 70th anniversary of the Chevrolet Corvette, the longest-running sports car on the road today. For eight generations, the Corvette has pushed the boundaries of technology, performance and style while remaining a cultural icon. The 2023 model year Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and Corvette Z06 will celebrate this momentous occasion with a special 70th Anniversary Edition package.
“The passion for the Corvette runs deep at Chevrolet and this anniversary is very special because of the excitement and sales success achieved with the eighth generation of the iconic American sports car,” said Steve Majoros, VP of Marketing at Chevrolet. "Even after 70 years, the Corvette still makes hearts race and kids dream of it on an open road."
The 70th Anniversary Edition Corvettes will be distinguished by two exterior colors exclusive to this package: the new White Pearl Metallic Tri-coat and the Carbon Flash Metallic. Optional bands are available in complementary colors: Satin Gray with White Pearl Metallic and Satin Black with Carbon Flash Metallic. Chevrolet Corvette 70th Anniversary Edition models feature different wheels with commemorative center caps. While the Stingray and Z06 versions have different wheel designs, they share a similar dark finish and Edge Red stripe.
Inside, drivers will find two-tone Ceramic Leather GT2 and Competition Sport seats, red stitching, red seat belts and suede inserts on the seats and steering wheel.

The 70th Anniversary Edition package will be available in the US when it starts production later this year on the 2023 Corvette Stingray 3LT and Z06 3LZ 2023 Coupe and Convertible versions. The 2023 Corvette Z06 viewer, available online on the brand's website, now includes the 70th Anniversary Edition bundle. All 2023 Corvettes, including those not equipped with the 70th Anniversary Edition package, will feature a 70th anniversary commemorative interior plaque located on the center speaker display, as well as a graphic printed on the lower glass of the rear window.
Corvette offers customers more options in 2023, giving the possibility to adapt it to make it more personalized, by increasing the amount of colors available to 14 exteriors and 8 interiors, which allow thousands of combinations.

The serial number (VIN) 001 of this long-awaited edition will cross the auction floor at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale this Saturday, January 29, 2022, and the proceeds will benefit Operation Homefront, an American non-profit organization focused on building families. strong, stable and secure military that can thrive - not just fight for it - in the communities they've worked hard to protect.
Chevrolet is a proud partner of Operation Homefront. Since 2017, the brand has donated seven Silverado pick-ups, the organization's six regional offices and headquarters, and has also provided funds to provide services.
Oliver Gavin, legendary former Corvette Racing driver, will drive the replacement 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 at auction for this special occasion.
