ROLLS-ROYCE DAWN BLACK BADGE OVERDOSE BY SPOFEC: SACANDO O LADO MAIS AGRESSIVO DO CONVERSÍVEL DE LUXO BRITÂNICO

Novitec reveals an aggressive side of the Rolls-Royce Dawn Black Badge

Aggression is not one of the qualities in Rolls-Royce products. The British brand allows for a certain degree of sportiness, but also in a very discreet way. It's what they call in the British house the 'Black Badge'. The exclusive Rolls-Royce Dawn Black Badge is one of the most suggestive options of the luxury brand's convertible, one of the latest models that has just come out of the workshops of the Germans at Spofec, a division of Novitec.

Spofec specialists are responsible for the most recent preparation carried out using the Dawn, the two-door convertible and canvas roof as a base. For those who didn't know, this special division is named with the initials 'SPirit OF ECstasy', the emblem that is displayed over the vertical grid of the British brand's models. One of the most exclusive figurines in the world, which does not share space in the German preparer's premises with any other brand.

The tuning specialist has developed the 'Overdose' kit, a package of carbon fiber parts that completely transforms Dawn's image. The first thing that catches your eye is the greater width of the model, with an extra 24mm on the front axle and 30mm on the rear, thanks to aluminum dividers mounted on each axle. An increase that allows you to mount large alloy wheels supplied by the Americans from Vossen, 22 inches in diameter.

These come in six possible finishes, painted in matte or polished black, in silver or titanium, with a transparent or solid surface, chocked with brutal tires measuring 265/35 R22 at the front and 295/30 R22 at the rear. In addition, carbon fiber clearly highlights the fenders, front and rear bumpers and the lip-shaped spoiler placed on the edge of the trunk lid. The Germans revised the air suspension module to offer a new sportier mode that lowers the body height from the ground by 40 mm at speeds of up to 140 km/h.

A must-have addition to the major performance boost, as the 6.6 liter V12 engine features the new 'N-Tronic' control unit. A chip that raises maximum power by 84 hp and torque by 139 Nm to 686 hp and 980 Nm, with which the maximum speed rises to 250 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is 4.6 seconds, a third less than the series model. Now, Spofec did not provide the price of its improvement package, which will not be cheap, but it will be necessary to add up to the approximately 430,000 euros that the British model costs in Europe.
