TOYOTA

TOYOTA FJ CRUISER: UMA VISÃO MODERNA DE UM TODO-TERRENO DE VERDADE

FJ Cruiser gets an interesting projection

The Toyota FJ Cruiser disappeared from European markets a few years ago, although its life extended in the United States until 2014, while in Japan the last special edition of the famous all-terrain appeared there in 2017.

Launched in 2006, the extravagant 4x4 had to compete against the Jeep Wrangler, the Land Rover Defender and the Mercedes-Benz G Class, and the great economic crisis of those years. What, combined with sales figures not very bright, meant that his goodbye came before the great SUV boom and the classic SUVs returned to fashion.

In fact, there are no signs that the Toyota model can come back to life, but the rendering that appears in the image portrays how the modern model could come to be, following a little the trend popularized by the Ford Bronco.

The digital design comes from the Facebook page of specialist Rain Prisk, and reinterprets the FJ's unique image for this new era, which caught a bit by surprise: the resurgence of off-road models.

Of course, the FJ's square shapes are still there, although the car looks much more refined than before. On the grille (it seems to be illuminated) the Toyota inscription can be seen, flanked by round headlights with horizontal flashing lights on the outside.

There's also no lack of an air intake in the hood, while as with the original model, the recreation features a large plastic front bumper.

Generally speaking, the model is certainly pleasing, and would certainly have a good acceptance in markets like the United States, where it would be a little more serious than the Bronco and more relaxed than the Wrangler.

However, as we mentioned at the beginning, it doesn't seem that Toyota has among its plans to bring the model back to life, although since 2018 there have been rumors about the arrival of a compact all-terrain vehicle from the Japanese brand.
