PEUGEOT

PEUGEOT APRESENTA O e-EXPERT, SEU PRIMEIRO UTILITÁRIO 100% ELÉTRICO NO PAÍS

Brand launches electrified utility in Brazil

Peugeot announces a new step in its electric offensive for the country, this time aimed at the utility market: the launch of the Peugeot e-Expert. The 100% electric version reinforces the model's prominent place in the Brazilian market, now with an even more complete and competitive offer.

The launch of the electric utility is part of the brand's global movement in Brazil, the MOVE TO ELECTRIC. Announced with the start of marketing of Peugeot's first electric vehicle in the country, the sports e-208 GT, the movement receives another electric vehicle for its portfolio, now for the commercial vehicle segment. With a suggested value of 329,990 reais(local currency), the e-Expert comes in a full version and allows people with CNH category B to drive the vehicle.

With electric propulsion combined with the model's recognized capacity to adapt to the most diverse professional activities - and without any restriction on access to city centers - makes the Peugeot e-Expert the best option among the medium-sized vans in the country. The e-Expert ensures this expanded dimension of comfort, through a product conception that made possible the absence of noise and vibrations, characteristics attributed to the electric power train and a smooth ride with excellent torque immediately available; a 'clean' run, without any CO2 emissions and a practical product, easy to recharge and low maintenance cost. All this added to all the qualities inherited from the combustion model, and the addition of more technology and on-board equipment.

Multi-energy platform: what was good just got better...The Peugeot e-Expert is based on the EMP2 multi-energy modular platform, which allowed preserving the useful volume of the combustion version, since the battery was incorporated below the vehicle floor, that is, it avoids any compromise of internal space or of cargo. The utility vehicle arrives on the Brazilian market in a single version, with a 75 kWh lithium ion battery pack and a three-phase 11 kW OBC, capable of guaranteeing up to 330 km of autonomy in urban cycle consumption in Brazil, according to INMETRO. Generally speaking, enough for the vehicle to make many trips without the need to recharge, especially within large urban centers. In addition to ensuring the functioning of the engine, the energy delivered by the batteries is also responsible for the performance of the equipment available on the model.

The lung of the Peugeot e-Expert is an electric motor that generates 136 hp (100 kW) and 260 Nm of immediate torque. The model has three driving modes: 'Eco', aimed at energy consumption; 'Normal', for a better compromise between autonomy and performance; and ‘Power’, which prioritizes performance using maximum power and torque.

The look of the 100% electric version is basically the same as the other members of the line. Externally, the change is in the introduction of the recharging point and on the left side of the body there is a monogram that identifies the electric version, positioned on the left in the rear door.

In the cockpit, the differences are noticeable mainly in your cabin. The new and modern instrument panel, called the e-cluster, presents speedometer information on a 3.5-inch digital color screen, as well as the driving mode, selected gear, battery charge level and energy consumption. The e-Expert also brings in the center console the e-Toggle, a gear selector with the functions Park (parking), Rear (reverse), Neutral (neutral) and Drive (driving). There is also the B-Mode button, which activates the regenerative braking function to preserve or partially charge the batteries, in addition to reducing wear on the brake pads.

A multimedia center with a 7.0 inch capacitive touch screen can be added to ensure entertainment and connectivity to the model. The optional item is compatible with Android Auto and Apple Carplay and has a rear view camera with 180° view and top view of the vehicle (Visio Park).

Practical, versatile and economical, e-Expert is the ideal partner for everyday life...Electric propulsion - clean and even more economical - is undoubtedly the great difference of the Peugeot e-Expert, but not the only one. The version brings with it the excellent package of features that guarantees the model an extra dose of advantages over competitors. Its dimensions are perfect for unrestricted mobility, without compromising its most important function: cargo transport. Among the main attributes are:

- Cargo volume of 6.1 m3 and 1 ton of cargo capacity, the best cargo optimization for urban logistics;

- Width of 1.25 m between the wheel boxes;

- Practical for cargo handling: sliding side door and rear door with 180° opening;

- Practical and efficient: height of 1.94 m, which guarantees access to garages with limited height;

- Autonomy of up to 330 km in urban cycle consumption in Brazil, according to INMETRO;

- Fast recharge: 80% in 45 minutes;

- Regenerative brakes that optimize battery life;

- Warranty: 3 years or 100,000 km for the vehicle; 8 years or 160,000 km for batteries;

- Best driveability in the segment: driving experience similar to that of a passenger vehicle;

- Available colors: Banquise White (solid) and Artense Gray (metallic).

And that's not all. e-EXPERT not only inherits everything that is already available in the combustion version, it also expands the list of standard items to ensure an even more complete offer. Among the additional novelties of the electric variant of Peugeot's medium van are the tire pressure monitoring system - TPMS, automatic headlight switching, electric parking brake, rain sensor, rear parking sensor and a Mode 2 cable for loading of emergency.

The vehicle also has good coverage in terms of safety and comfort items to make life easier for those behind the wheel, featuring a standard ramp start assistant (Hill Assist), ABS brakes, electronic stability control, fatigue indicator ( Coffee Cup Alert), integrated daytime running lights (DRL), speed limiter and autopilot.

The model was also designed for passengers. The Peugeot e-Expert has an offer of three spacious cabins in order to ensure that all passengers can travel comfortably. Its cockpit also features a high driving position for a better view of the road, as well as high-level seats, generous interior space and a complete instrument panel.

To recharge the Peugeot e-Expert, all that is required is that the steering selector is in the ‘P’ Parking position. Recharging time depends on the charging station, and can vary from 45 minutes in 100 kW fast charging stations, for 80% of the battery, to 7:30 in 11 kW three-phase network. The model is even equipped with a three-phase 11 kW OBC, which allows for faster charging in various conditions.
