It was presented at the Paris Motor Show in 1990 and was active until 1995, becoming one of the most important high-performance sedans of the moment, at a time when AMG was not yet in charge of developing these versions officially for Mercedes- Benz.Equipped with a 5.0 liter V8 engine and naturally aspirated, the 500 E offered 326 hp of power managed through an automatic transmission connected directly to the rear axle. In this way, it was able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds and kept accelerating until reaching a top speed of 250 km/h.This particular unit was commissioned in February 1991 and is finished in metallic black with the bumpers and sides in dark grey. The interior features perforated beige leather upholstery, black dashboard and steering wheel, and wooden moldings.
