HYUNDAI

Brand bets on the metaverse to ''overcome physical limitations of movement''

The metaverse theme is something that is gaining more and more space in discussions about the future of technology, especially after initiatives such as that of Mark Zuckerberg, who bets high on this theme even for social media platforms, such as Facebook.

The automotive world, it seems, will also not be far from this type of discussion.

Hyundai revealed this week some of its highlights that will be presented at CES 2022, a traditional technology fair held in the United States.

The metaverse was not left out and the manufacturer "will share its vision of how robotics will complete the metaverse by connecting the virtual world with reality and, therefore, overcoming the physical limitations of movement in relation to time and space", explains the Hyundai in statement.

Another theme to be explored by the South Korean manufacturer is the development of the Mobility of Things, or MoT in its English acronym.

Basically, MoT means looking for ways to “offer mobility in everything”, explains Hyundai, which will present at CES 2022 a robotic module for various applications within the concept of Mobility of Things.

Finally, in a bold proposal, Hyundai will also offer visitors to its space at CES 2022 a presentation in which it reveals how “mobility in the real world is able to advance with robots and envision a future robotic society, which will enable the transport between the virtual and the real world".
