ADIANTAMOS O FUTURO MITSUBISUI ASX, UM ATRAENTE B-SUV QUE CHEGARÁ EM 2023

Mitsubishi ASX 2023 appears in projection

Last year, Mitsubishi confirmed an alliance with Renault for the development of new models that the Japanese brand will market in Europe, starting in 2023. Only a few months later we learned that the three-diamond brand will have two new models based on the Clio and in Capture.

The Japanese brand will fully launch in the B segment, acquiring part of the important benefits that this means. The difficult situation that the Mitsubishi ASX is going through forced the brand to rethink this model that was literally swallowed up by Eclipse Cross, the true representative of the brand in the compact segment, so that the ASX 2023 will transform into a B-SUV, and which appears in recreation of image.

A very faithful preview of the design of the future model that will adopt the new features of the Japanese brand brought forward by the modern concept of the Mitsubishi Engelberg Tourer, completely transforming the ASX. The model will display a very modern and robust styling at the front, reproducing torn LED headlamps at the top and additional light groups housed in the air intakes at the extremes of the bumper.

The influence of the new Outlander will be as evident as the Captur in the shape of the profile. Something difficult to change if we stick to the statements made by Mitsubishi after the agreement, whose representatives stated, verbatim, that the objective of the agreement was “the production of sister models offering the distinctive style of Mitsubishi and improving the competitiveness of the brand”. These are words that clearly reinforce this advance.

The new ASX will downgrade its category, but in return it will benefit from Renault's 'E-Tech' plug-in hybrid technology. This will be the big star of the new B-SUV of the Japanese brand, also offering gasoline versions. The new Mitsubishi ASX has already been confirmed by the brand to the different European divisions, and its launch is scheduled for 2023. There will be no full-wheel drive in any of the versions, as they will all be front-wheel drive, but will feature a system of driving modes.
