Intact 1998 Porsche 993 Turbo S goes on sale

The Porsche 911 is the sports car par excellence. He is admired from car lovers to politicians, businessmen and celebrities. Also senior positions in countries with great power and a high level of income that are not only able to buy it, but also customize it according to their tastes, even though they may seem eccentric. A good example of this is the flashy 1998 Porsche 993 Turbo S belonging to the prime minister of Kuwait, which has just gone on sale.

Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, the sixth prime minister of Kuwait, acquired this Porsche 911 Turbo S of the 993 series in the year 1998. It is finished in a striking Vanilla Yellow shade with greenish accents. Shows original Porsche Turbo wheels and brake calipers in yellow. Despite the interesting exterior paintwork, Al-Sabah decided that the interior should also measure up.

The interior is finished in orange and yellow, with contrasting wood panels, while the carpet has a tan tone that sets it apart from the rest. There are also seats with the owner's initials NMS embroidered on the headrests, as well as a long list of leather-covered pieces. This material is available in different colors, from belt buckles to switches.

Under the rear hood hides a 6-cylinder, 3.6-litre twin-turbo boxer engine. This unit generates 450 hp of power and sends it to the rear wheels through a manual transmission. The 993 is the latest of the air-cooled 911 Turbo, it weighs 1,500 kg and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds. Its top speed is 296 km/h.

The car will be delivered together with complete invoices that include a restoration carried out by Porsche Classic in Germany, for a total of 446,500 euros. It accumulates a total of just 135 km run in the last 23 years. Now, this flashy 1998 Porsche 993 Turbo S is on sale through the Canadian experts at Pfaff Reserve for a price of $888,888.
