TECHART VESTE O PORSCHE 911 TARGA 4 COM UNIFORME POLICIAL

TechArt prepares Porsche 911 Targa 4 in police clothing

About a year ago it was AC Schnitzer who presented a flashy police car on the base of the BMW M850i, a model that, of course, was not a preparation that could be purchased, nor was it a commission from a police force, but a display car within the 'Tune It! Safe!’, driven by German preparers and authorities to promote responsible, legal and safe tuning.

This year it was TechArt's turn, which presents a Porsche 911 Targa 4 ready to serve the German police as shown in the images. A vehicle that is being displayed at the Essen Motor Show that has its doors open between the 26th of November and the 5th of December.

Thus, this model presents itself not only with a new decoration of the German police in blue, white and lemon yellow, but also with a new body kit that is already well known within the company, the TechArt Aerokit, which includes a personalized front spoiler , side skirts, a rear diffuser and a subtle rear spoiler. Also missing are the new Formula V multi-spoke wheels with a large-diameter turbine design and, of course, police lights on the top and hood.

In terms of chassis, TechArt also made changes, adding new sports springs that lower the height of the sports car by 40 mm. On the other hand, there is no news about a possible upgrade of its 6-cylinder, 3.0-liter twin-turbo boxer engine, so it will continue to have its 385 hp and 450 Nm of maximum torque, enough to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds. The interior has been improved, now it has a leather upholstery that displays designs in the form of blue frames like those used by some patrol cars, and which are present on the steering wheel, on the armrests of the central tunnel and on the doors, along with other details in the lime color and the TechArt insignia on the steering wheel.
