Ford Performance and RTR Vehicles have just unveiled the new Ford Mustang RTR 2021

Officially christened the Mustang RTR Series 1 Powered by Ford Performance, the unique pony car is aesthetically updated to achieve a more aggressive image. Once again it has the personal touch of Vaughn Gittin Jr.

It differs from the original Mustang thanks to a more aggressive and prominent front. It has a new bumper, LED daylight headlights and a more muscular hood characterized by a black sticker. At the rear the changes are not so noticeable, where the most outstanding element is the spoiler and a new diffuser.

Of course, a new set of wheels in the size of 19 inches with central covers from RTR could not be missing. They are combined with the graphics that run throughout the body. Inside there is a nameplate, specific thresholds and gearshift lever, new mats and a certificate of authenticity.

Along with its sassy aesthetic, the Ford Mustang RTR 2021 also stands out for its tuning, which includes technical elements and performance improvements. Also, its electronics have been tuned specifically for drifting enthusiasts, so everything seems to indicate that it will be the perfect weapon to enjoy drifting on any circuit.

In the bowels of the Ford Mustang RTR 2021 there are from new stabilizer bars to high-performance tires. There is also no shortage of adjustable dampers and new, more powerful brakes. The Track Handling Pack is installed on models without the MagneRide suspension system, otherwise they receive the Ford Performance MagneRide suspension kit.

The RTR Series 1 pack retains the same potency as the factory Performance Pack 1. You can choose between the EcoBoost engine with 310 hp and the GT with 460 hp of power. Only 500 copies of this limited edition will be manufactured. The package costs $6,296 in the US at a Ford dealership, while installation costs an additional $1,200.

To all of this, you must add the original Ford warranty and maintenance service. For those who want more power, RTR also offers Spec 1, Spec 2 and Spec 3 packages for the Mustang 2021. These include many more upgrades, including a supercharger.
