B&B AUTOMOBILTECHNIK presents its newest masterpiece
There is no doubt that the sophisticated Bentley Bentayga is one of the Crewe models that is most used by preparers. The latest news comes from the workshops of the Germans at B&B Automobiltechnik GmbH, which converted the British SUV into an authentic missile, despite the more than two and a half tons that it weighs on the scale.
The B&B team was especially dedicated to the mechanics, with light touches on the exterior and interior aesthetics. On the outside, it's been given a more eye-catching look with chrome screens on the grille and all front bumper air intakes, as well as adding new side running boards and 23-inch-diameter, black-painted twin-spoke alloy wheels. . In addition, the suspension has been modified with a new electronic module for the pneumatic system that lowers the body height by 35 mm.
But it's the mechanics that really scare you, because it offers different levels depending on the mechanics, whether it's the V8, the W12 or the old diesel. For the twin-turbo 4.0 liter V8 that develops a maximum power of 550 hp from the factory, two levels are offered that raise this figure to 625 and 650 hp, retouching the engine electronics and with a higher boost pressure, as well as adding new ones. intake ducts.
For the Bentayga diesel two levels are also offered, going from the original 435 hp to 500 and 525 hp, while for the exclusive W12, the 600 hp becomes 675 and 760 hp. This level offers spectacular performance as it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 310 km/h. These figures are possible thanks to previous modifications and also to a new sports exhaust system that has a special valve to reduce the exhaust gas backpressure and its temperature.
Even for the most 'gourmets' and available only in some markets, a high-performance exhaust system is offered for the V8 and W12 versions, which, manufactured in polished stainless steel, has an electronically adjustable sound and capable of generating an extra of 35 hp. An option that rounds out the news and converts the Bentayga into something more powerful than a missile.
