NISSAN

A STRATEGIC ALLY OF THE NISSAN LINE THAT HAS A 360 DEGREE VISION

For Nissan, innovation is part of its DNA and, through Nissan Intelligent Mobility, which aims to transform the way vehicles are driven and integrated into society, the Japanese brand confirms its commitment to having the best technologies in its vehicles to make the driving experience safer and more enjoyable.

And the 360º Vision is one of these technologies, being present in 11 Nissan vehicles in the region: Sentra, Versa, Qashqai, X-Trail, Kicks, Frontier, Murano, Pathfinder, Patrol, Altima and the 100% electric Nissan LEAF.
Inspired by the ‘eagle eye’, this technology makes it easier and safer for the driver to perform parking maneuvers or drive in reverse.
It represented the vanguard in models like Pathfinder and X-Trail and in successful sedans like the new Versa and Sentra, which include it as standard in their high-end versions. Nissan Kicks, Nissan's best-selling model in Latin America, has the 360º Intelligent Vision as one of its technology differentials in the segment.

How it works?
The 360º Vision is a system composed of four external cameras located, one in the front, two on the sides and one at the rear, which allow a 360º peripheral view. It is complemented by a moving object detection system that detects bodies around the vehicle and emits visual and audible alerts.
The images captured by the cameras are displayed on the central screen, providing a composite image created from above simulating 'bird's eye view'. This system supports the driver in reverse and visually confirms the vehicle's position in relation to the parking queues and nearby objects, allowing for safer and easier maneuvers.
The virtual (or panoramic) aerial view that this system recreates allows the vehicle to be positioned more appropriately to park in tight spaces, while the front and rear views confirm the location in relation to nearby objects, giving the option to split the screen to have both views simultaneously.
