American trainer makes Urus more brutal

The Urus, in itself, has the merit of being an SUV with performance at the level of the best super sports, or if this were not the ground where Lamborghini traditionally plays and wins. That is why Sant'Agata Bolognese's “super SUV”, as the brand likes to describe it, draws the attention not only of many buyers (it is responsible for the brand's sales having doubled), but also of the most famous preparers. If, at the Geneva Salon, which did not take place, Mansory surprised with a radical and unobtrusive transformation of Urus, now it was Hennessey's turn to dedicate his attention to it. But, contrary to the German proposal, the Texas trainer focused only on the essential: the 4.0 V8 Twin-Turbo.
The attention given to it resulted in a purely technical transformation kit, that is, there are no changes in the aesthetics of the Italian SUV, so the modified unit does not indicate that it has been tampered with - which can be seen as an advantage for those who like to go unnoticed and, at the same time, have another 110 hp at their disposal. This is precisely the number of horses in the additional herd that Hennessey adds to the already expeditious 650 hp of the “normal” Urus, which raises the beast's power to a bestial 760 hp, lowering the 0-97 km / h to 2.65 seconds.
Subject to the dynamometer test, which measures the torque reaching the wheels and not the one supplied by the engine, the Urus without the Hennessey transformation kit registered 554 hp and 822 Nm, while with the kit it jumped to 629 hp and 990 Nm, in the same power bank measurement.
According to the North American preparer, to “squeeze” more 110 hp from the 4.0 V8 Twin-Turbo, improvements were made to the intake, with the adoption of less restrictive filters, along with modifications to the electronic engine control unit (ECU) , duly accompanied by a new high performance exhaust system, with a more glaring and exciting sound. Not that the 650 hp Urus without the HPE750 kit plays a boring song…
