It is true that battery powered electric cars need more time to recharge, but what is not expected is a driver to use a tram to take advantage of the benefits it ensures and then think he can supply it at the pump in a few minutes, as if it were a model with a gasoline or diesel engine. It is not expected, but it happens.
A group was waiting in a vehicle with a combustion engine for their turn to top up the pump and noticed that, in front of them, a customer was obviously in the wrong place. The driver in question was driving a Tesla Model 3 and was preparing to top up at a pump for petroleum-based fuels. For future memory and risk, they recorded the episode on video.
The vehicle displayed temporary license plates, which means that it must belong to the “distracted” driver, or else he would be providing a service to someone. What is certain is that he first tried to find a way to slide the gasoline through the electrical wiring. Unsuccessfully.
Then the man looked for another filling nozzle, if the vehicle was not a hybrid. Finally, in a moment of foresight, he decided to call someone who understood the matter, who must have assured him that he was at the wrong filling station.
This is not the first record of this type of mistake and, most likely, it will not be the last.
