OCTAVIA SCOUT 2020: MORE ATTRACTIVE

We already knew that, together with the Sedan version and the Combi version, the new generation of Octavia would include a new Octavia Scout, but only now the Czech brand showed all the details in images of its new van with adventurous airs.
The success story of this version of the over-elevated Combi - with robust details, off-road style, greater ground clearance and full traction - started in 2007 and the model is about to write a new chapter. In addition to the design, the lifestyle-oriented multifunctional station wagon offers even more space than its predecessor, and will now also be optionally available with front-wheel drive versions.

Equipped with a standard Rough-Road package, which includes protection of the lower parts and 15 mm further from the ground, the Scout is also ideally suited for off-road driving, and is also a perfect option for towing.
Like its Octavia siblings, the Scout - which at 4,703 mm and 1,829 mm is now 16 mm longer and 15 mm wider, respectively - offers an even more generous amount of space than its predecessor. The capacity of the trunk has been increased by an additional 30 liters, up to 640 liters.

The different front and rear bumpers, both with low-profile protection with an aluminum look, as well as additional black plastic frames on the wheel arches, the side sills and the bottom of the doors, protect the body of the model and give you a different look. This is completed with standard 18-inch Prague silver alloy wheels or the optional 19-inch Manaslu.

The front and rear diffusers, roof bars and window frames come in a silver finish, as well as the electrically adjustable, foldable and heated mirror housings, which include an automatic dimming function. The Octavia Scout is equipped with LED anti-fog headlights as standard and features exclusive SCOUT emblems on the front fenders.
The redesigned panel is modular and is organized on different levels, with a large independent central screen up to 10 inches. The central console is adorned with chrome details, which can also be found on the decorative panels and on the door handles.

Scout-specific trim on the dashboard, as well as ThermoFlux seats and Scout logos on the front seats, provide special visual details to the interior. Skoda Scout pedals are finished in aluminum, while the upholstery, steering wheel, arm rests and dashboard all come with Tabor Brown decorative seams.
The model will be available with the new 2.0 TDI EVO engine with 200 hp and 400 Nm of torque, a 2.0 TDI block of 115 hp and a 1.5 TSI of 150 hp - both equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission - in addition to a version and -TEC of 1.5 TSI with 7-speed DSG transmission and Mild Hybrid (MHEV) technology.

Alternatively, the customer can also choose between two top-of-the-line engines: a 2.0 TSI that generates 190 hp of power and a 2.0 TDI with 200 hp or 150 hp, all of which are associated with full traction and standard 7-speed DSG transmission.
