MB B25 is less thick than the AMG?
Anyone who ever browses through a price list will find that it is currently full of niches. There is no segment that is not actually served at the moment.

Niches
Especially when it comes to the somewhat nonsensical car types. You will search in vain for a three-door hatchback, full-size MPV or compact coupé, but in terms of crossovers there is a lot to get. Mercedes-Benz has a special deal with the GLB, that of the compact seven-seater crossover. Ideal for a family that is small in size, but bone-in in numbers.



Fast seven-seater
But the niche goes much further. Because suppose you are looking for a new fast seven-seater from your Zafira OPC or S-Max 2.5T that is not too big, there is not much choice. The Mercedes-AMG GLB35 might be an option.



Brabus cap B25
But if that is a bit overkill, you can now go to Brabus. The Brabus GLB B25 is exactly between the ‘250’ and ’35 AMG. The basis is the GLB250 with the AMG package. For that, Brabus has an arsenal of stuff on offer, such as front spoiler, Brabus grille with B logo and some small black details such as the ‘wings’ in the ‘grille’ in the bumper. It obviously has no function (the grille is even closed there), but it shows so sporty.



Led lamps
For a rugged accent, two huge LED lights are mounted on the roof. It’s all the rage that has been raging for a while. It doesn’t really add much, unless you want lighting during the better drug deal along a dimly lit parking lot in the polder. Or something.



New wheels
Of course you can also choose from new wheels for the Brabus GLB B25. The pattas come in 18, 19 or 20 inches in diameter. You will of course see 20 ″ in the photos. The model in question is the Monoblock Z, which, in addition to 20 inches in diameter, is a whopping 8.5 inches wide. The tires (255/40 R20) are made by Pirelli, Continental or Yokohama. To further improve road holding, Brabus mounts its own springs, which bring the car 30 millimeters closer to the asphalt.



B25 upgrade
In this case, the base of the Brabus GLB B25 is a GLB250. This delivers 224 hp in standard form. But if you order the Brabus PowerXtra B25 upgrade (and have it fitted), it increases by 46 hp to a healthy 270 hp. The maximum torque was originally 350 Nm, but after the tickling from Bottrop that is 430 Nm.



Positive effect
This has a positive effect on performance. The Brabus GLB B25 can count in 6.6 to 100 km / h sprinting. The top speed is 240 km / h. You can order the Brabus GLB B25 with four-wheel drive on front-wheel drive. Brabus does not say whether it makes a difference in performance. However, the German horse whisperers indicate that there will be more upgrades for engines from the range. You can also order a huge amount of accessories for the interior.
