LAND ROVER

RANGE ROVER 2021 NOW IS ‘MILD-HYBRID’

The arrival of the Range Rover 2021 means an update to the British SUV, which keeps its design intact and focuses on renewing its engine offering and expanding its equipment endowment, a path that also follows its smaller brother, the Range Rover Sport.
Land Rover chose to eliminate from the lines of both V6 and V8 diesel engines, replacing them with up to three different versions of the Ingenium 3.0 propeller, in 6 cylinders in line, with an aluminum structure (which is why it is 80 kilos lighter) and Mild-Hybrid technology.

The D250 is the smallest, with 249 hp and 600 Nm, and can only equip the Range Rover Sport; the intermediate is the D300, with 300 hp and 650 Nm; and the superior one is the D350, with 350 hp and 700 Nm. Smooth hybridization is also present in the P400 gasoline engine, which uses this same technology. The cleanest is the plug-in hybrid P400e, with a power of 404 hp and an electric range of 40 km; and on the part of conventional gasoline blocks are two versions of the V8 engine with 525 and 565 hp.

The other highlighted aspect of the Range Rover 2021 update is in relation to its equipment, now more complete than before and which includes the Touch Pro Duo infotaintment system with two 10-inch screens and with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Wi-Fi connectivity , interior ionization and air purification system, rear camera, parking assistant, involuntary lane change assistant, cruise control, speed limiter, emergency braking, etc.

The limited edition Autobiography Fifty Edition announced some time ago adds others. The HSE Westminster Edition features 21-inch wheels, Antelina upholstery, 20-position adjustable thermal seats and a 19-speaker Meridian sound system. It is also available in Black version, which adds several elements in black. Finally, SVAutobiography Dynamic Stealth also focuses on shiny black exterior details, such as 22-inch wheels and brake calipers.
