LAND ROVER

DEFENDER LINE ADD NEW VERSION

The Land Rover Defender line continues to grow. The British brand intends to give a major role to the model in practically all aspects, not only in design and equipment or mechanics, but also in body versions. The latest news is the arrival of the ‘Hard Top’ version.
Available in both the Defender 90, the short three-door, and the long 110 five-door, this new version is considered as the commercial alternative dedicated especially to companies, and will go on sale later this year. The name chosen is also a legacy of the 1950 model, which had a hard roof, made of metal and fixed, which gave a special image.

The same style that has now been implemented in the SUV designed by specialists from SVO, the Special Operations division that also runs the customization program that, in fact, eliminated the second and third row of seats from the respective versions, significantly increasing the volume of cargo.

Land Rover will offer this version with four-wheel drive as standard, and the option of having air suspension. Despite its more professional character, the Defender Hard Top will not lose its fitness outside the asphalt, with a body height of 291 mm in relation to the ground and a maximum water depth of 900 mm, which allows the new Terrain system Wade program Response 2, and ample equipment with the following elements: 360º camera; air updates (OTA); Pivi Pro touch screen; integration of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
