Robert Kubica, Alfa Romeo, talks to team members, including Josef Leberer
Kubica back, by Alfa Romeo

Robert Kubica will make his return to F1 next Friday, doing his first free practice for Alfa Romeo over the Styrian GP weekend.
Kubica, who left Williams at the end of 2019, is a reserve driver for Alfa for the 2020 season. He will drive Antonio Giovinazzi's C39.
Kubica had already participated in the preseason tests, finishing as the fastest driver on the opening morning of the second test.
"I'm looking forward to getting back into action this weekend, especially after the long break that the motorsport world has had to observe," said Kubica. "My goal, as always, is to provide as much data as possible to our engineers and give them my feedback from inside the cockpit."
“This weekend will be a totally new experience for everyone, competing in the same place we were just a few days ago, so it will be a matter of refining all the data we collected throughout the Austrian GP and testing the adjustments we want to make in cars. "
Alfa chief Frederic Vasseur said: “I look forward to seeing Robert in the car on Friday. A driver with his experience always has valuable feedback and can help us to continue learning about our car. ”
The Pole will not be the only F1 reserve driver to participate in the opening training session of the Styrian GP. Jack Aitken will attend the same session for Williams, in place of George Russell.
