TUNNING

A6 ALLROAD BY ABT SPORTSLINE

ABT Sportsline presents one of its latest innovations based on a model from the Ingolstadt brand. But, unlike taking one of the more sporty models, such as the Audi RS6 Avant, this time the German preparer opted for the adventurous-looking station wagon, the A6 allroad quattro.
An example that, for many, the concept of crossover and the maximum sporting spirit that the tuning specialist prints are not incompatible. Aesthetically, the dark plastic frames that act as protectors on the wheel arches and the side skirts were painted the body color, eliminating the off-road aspect, in addition to also lowering the body height in relation to the ground.

As usual, ABT offers different designs of light-alloy wheels, 20 and 21 inches, in five-spoke designs and special finishes with a shiny black, matte black bath and a special diamond treatment. Very discreet improvements, as well as in the interior, which are limited to customized details such as the engine start-stop button and the carbon shift lever handle.

The most interesting part is the improved performance of the three versions of this model in the A6 line, thanks to the special control unit ABT Engine Control. The 55 TFSI gasoline engine now offers an original maximum power of 340 to 408 hp and the torque also rises from 500 to 550 Nm. In the diesel engine, the 50 TDI goes from 286 hp as a standard to 330 hp and the torque also rises from ?? 620 to ?? 670 Nm.

The top-of-the-line diesel version, the 55 TDI, considered the most powerful, increases the power from 349 to 384 hp, and the torque also increases from 700 to 760 Nm. In addition, the option of providing the A6 allroad with a particularly particular sound, whether diesel or gasoline, thanks to the ABT Sound Control sports exhaust system.
